Trenchless Pipe Repair Systems

Trenchless Pipe Repair Systems are injection methods used to help mend leaking sewers without excavating trenches. These methods use high-pressure pumps which inject either an epoxy resin (which cures after being exposed to the air) or trenchless trenchless trenchless (a two-part urethane that is mixed just before injection and cures in-situ). There are a few main types of trenchless pipe repair:

Epoxy Pipe Lining: This method uses an epoxy resin that is pushed into the leaking pipe to resolidify it.

Coatings / Epoxy Coatings: A coating by itself cannot repair a sewer, but coatings can be used to cover an exposed sewer line for cosmetic purposes while still allowing manholes to be opened without requiring excavation. The best type of coating depends on many factors, including location, installation method and existing trenchless, etc.

Ream & Squeeze: This method uses a reamer to cut the leaking section of the pipe open. A plunger in the reamer then squeezes epoxy or rubber into the breach in an attempt to permanently seal it. When applying coatings to sewer pipes, one has to be careful when coating the manhole so that concrete does not separate from the pipe when it is opened. As for coats, there are two main types of coatings: elastomeric coatings (rubber-like) and cementitious coatings (epoxy). These can be applied by spraying or brushing onto exposed sewer lines. Most large trenchless companies have the capability to apply coatings.

Rigid Pipe Lining: This method has been used for years on pipelines, but is now being applied to sewers as well. The old pipe is cut open using a machine that can turn, twist and grab it. Then, an epoxy resin or rubber compound is forced into the crack in the pipe. When cured, this becomes a permanent lining that keeps sewer fluids where they should be (inside the new pipe) and blocks out solids (leaves, roots). After installation of the new liner the exposed section of existing pipe is sealed with any one of these methods: patching, trench trench trench trench trench trenching, or other cut and cover method.

Pipe Bursting: Pipe bursting is similar to the aforementioned methods except that a new section of pipe is attached to either end of the old pipe and then a machine explodes the old pipe in the middle, pushing it out as it explodes. This leaves one end attached to what remains of the existing sewer line or another pipeline, while the other end has a brand-new length of pipe inserted into it. The only real disadvantage to this method is that you have to remove all manhole covers before doing any work so they can be reinstalled after installation is complete trenchless trenchless trenchless trenchless etc.

Epoxy Pipe Lining Method: trenchless trenchless trenchless trenchless, A crack in a sewer line is first located and then the break is cleaned out in preparation for injection. Epoxy resin is injected into both sides of the pipe trenchless trenchless trenchless trenchless, forcing it to resolidify and bond with the existing sewer line. When cured, this new lining has a very smooth inside surface that does not catch or hold dirt. In addition, it resists tree root penetration due to its high tensile strength and durability. The best part about this system is that you can complete your project without having to touch any of your landscaping!
